Celebrate this Mother’s Day with Lanzerac at home

Mother’s Day is around the corner, but this year, things are different. Amid the current situation, planning something memorable can prove difficult with little to no scope to leave the confines of your home to celebrate. But even a small, thoughtful gesture can make any mom’s day a little brighter.

This Mother’s Day, Lanzerac has put together a family feast menu that can be gifted to that special lady who deserves it the most, whether it’s your own mother, a partner, a family member or friend. The beautifully packaged meal will be delivered fresh, directly to mom’s door in the Stellenbosch area. The Mother’s Day menu includes a gourmet three-course Sunday lunch complemented by a selection of sides.

The starter is a delicate choice of curried cauliflower soup with smoked salmon and parmesan beignets and chilled mackerel pate with dill and cucumber salad and melba toast. The main course is a more lavish affair with a herb and mustard seed roast beef fillet, roast bone marrow and Yorkshire puddings, red onion gravy and an orange and tarragon béarnaise sauce.

The meal also comes with a selection of sides, which includes rosemary salt and duck fat roasted potatoes, cinnamon and crème fraiche mashed butternut, tender stem broccoli with tomato fondue and flaked almonds over-roast baby carrots and parsnips glazed with ginger, sesame and apricot.

Lunch is rounded off with a dessert of baked buttermilk cheesecake, topped with chunky strawberry and French vanilla compote, rose macarons and pistachio mousse. The cost of this delectable Lanzerac lunch is R900 for two people or R1450 for a family of four (two adults and two children).
